Andrew is a 17 year old from Kingston,Ontario who loves music. He plays the guitar and composes his own music and lyrics. It was only fitting that the Make-A-Wish^® Foundation of Eastern Ontario grant him a «musical wish». Since he was in grade 8, he hoped to one day attend the Warped Tour, a rock concert featuring many artists that travel through North America every summer. This year marked the 15th anniversary of the Warped Tour and Andrew along with his family and friends were given the opportunity to live the dream in Montréal. As Andrew puts it: « It was awesome! It rained pretty much the whole time at the show, but I loved it anyways. Getting away from Kingston for a bit to a place like Montreal and exploring and everything was so much fun. I love it there. And being able to be there with two close friends and family is even better. »This young cancer survivor also took the opportunity to discover Montréal and it’s vibrant artistic community: «We spent the extra day exploring, since Montreal is so big. Went to old Montreal and Chinatown and such. »
