 The Climb for Wishes Series - Everest - May 10-30 May/Mai 10-30In May 2009, François Langlois will guide a limited number of climbers up to base camp of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest. He is the third Quebecer to successfully reach its summit. In preparation for their departure to Mount Everest May 10th, trekkers went shopping at one of the best sports equipment stores- Atmosphere, to choose a few items and complete their list of necessary gear. The excursion was met with much enthusiasm! The foundation is glad to have Ricky Dee on board as official spokesperson for our Climb for Wishes Series 2009. Ricky Dee held a popular spot in radio for 20 years and is now a successful restaurateur; he will take part in the adventure and is looking forward to the life changing experience on his ascension to Mount Everest (base camp)!
