Our Partners
Wishes At Work - Corporate PartnershipsThere are many unique opportunities for your company and your brands to participate in meaningful and successful cause-related marketing programs with Make-A-Wish®. Every company has different brand-building needs and strategies, and we recognize that.
We will work with you to determine what your company wants to achieve through a relationship with Make-A-Wish® Southwestern Ontario. Then, we will tailor each partnership according to those criteria. These partnerships can be community-based or extend throughout our entire wish granting region of Southwestern Ontario.
If your company or organization is interested in supporting the Southwestern Ontario chapter of Make-A-Wish®, please call Lori Quick at (519) 471-4900 ext. 22.
Employee Giving
If you would like to include Make-A-Wish® in your existing employee giving campaign, or if your company does not have an employee giving program but would like to establish one in support of Make-A-Wish, please ask the person responsible for your workplace giving program to call Lori Quick at (519) 471-4900 ext. 22.
Fundraising Events
You can help make wishes come true by organizing a workplace fundraising event in support of Make-A-Wish®. Some fundraising ideas include: golf tournaments, casual days, community barbecues, walk-a-thons, and bake sales. Please call Stephanie Field at (519) 471-4900 ext. 25 if you would like to hold a a special event in support of Make-A-Wish® Southwestern Ontario.
Please download our Benefit Proposal Form here.
Matching Gift Funds
Many medium and large-sized companies offer a matching gifts program. Contact your human resources department to see if Make-A-Wish® qualifies for a company-matched gift. This is a great opportunity to increase the collective contributions from employee giving or the funds raised at a special event.
Workplace Toy Drives
Each time our wish granting volunteers visit our wish children and their families, they bring small "ice breaker" gifts for the wish child and their siblings. These gifts help introduce the wish grantor to the family while preparations for their wish are underway. Our greatest need is items for teenagers (ages 12 to 17), however we need new & age-appropriate "ice breaker" gifts for children of all ages. If you can help, please contact Carissa Pertschy, Manager of Wish Granting at (519) 471-4900 ext. 28.
How Do I Start Wishes at Work at My Company?
Wishes at Work enables employees of a company to join together and design a fundraising event or ongoing workplace campaign that fits the needs of their particular work environment. We are constantly amazed and delighted at the variety of ways in which employees raise funds to help us continue granting wishes.
If you would like to begin a Wishes at Work program, we would be happy to help. Here are some tips to help you get started:
Contact our office at (519) 471-4900 ext. 25 or stephanie.field@makeawish.ca for our Wishes at
Work guide, which includes many fundraising ideas.
Invite a Make-A-Wish® volunteer speaker to share information with your company's employees
about our organization.
Designate one person to lead the Wishes at Work campaign and consider forming a Make-A -Wish committee.
Set your goal and chart your progress.
Challenge other offices, divisions and departments to see who can raise the most funds.
Submit your donations to Make-A-Wish on a regular basis.
Celebrate your success!
