Pitches for Wishes takes place on September 4th, 2011 at Bissett Field Diamond #1 in Cole Harbour.

The Sheriff’s Department and Correctional Services of Nova Scotia will be saddling up to the plate for another year of bragging rights. It’s all in fun and for a good cause – Make-A-Wish Atlantic Provinces. Volunteer organizers, Rory Fraser and Chris Deal, have organized their fellow workers, union, community members, and business to get behind granting a child’s Wish.

Scotiabank will be preparing a serving of BBQ’d hot dogs & hamburgers. There will be a silent auction and 50/50 draw. Kool FM will be there to help motivate our players and liven up the attendees.

It’s a great day to bring out your family and friends.
