On Sunday, October 16, 2011 Team Make-A-Wish participated in the 2011 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K Charity Challenge. Over 30 Make-A-Wish staff, volunteers, corporate supporters and community members rallied together for a fun-filled run/walk across the Lakeshore and through the streets of downtown Toronto.

Members of Team Make-A-Wish had the opportunity to gather together for a pre-race pump up breakfast and to celebrate their fundraising success!

Overall, the Team Make-A-Wish generated over $34,000 in support of our mission to grant the magical wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions. Funds raised will help bring hope and happiness to our courageous wish children!
