Our mission is to bring hope and happiness to children with life-threatening illnesses across BC and the Yukon.

Make-A-Wish British Columbia and Yukon was the first Chapter of Make-A-Wish in Canada. Since 1983 we have granted more than 1,100 wishes for children in our region. This year we hope to grant between 80 and 100 special wishes.

In 2008 Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon will be celebrating 25 years of granting magical wishes for children with life threatening illnesses. 25 years of offering Hope, Strength and Joy to these amazing children and their families is something to be very proud of and something to celebrate.
We are incredibly grateful to all our partners and donors – past, present and future; and all our volunteers over the years who have helped us share the power of a wish.
