We are very pleased to announce a new volunteer program for the Canada Office. Current opportunities for volunteering in the Canada Office include:
General Office Support Make-A-Wish Canada Office is looking for office volunteers to assist with administrative tasks. If volunteering in a fun environment and learning new skills is what you’re looking for, you have come to the right place.
Duties:
- Provide general office assistance such as photocopying, fax, filing, mailing etc.
- Assist Chief Executive Officer with board meeting preparation and packages for board
Requirements:
- Interest in the mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
Length of Service: A minimum commitment of 6 months
Each volunteer will be scheduled for a half-day placement once or twice a week
Available Shifts: Monday - Fridays
From 10 am – 1 pm and from 2 pm – 5 pm
Event Volunteer We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist with our various events, such as golf tournaments, silent auctions, races, sales, etc.
All we ask is for a bit of your time, and in return you'll be contribution to the well-being of the children in your community.
Our regional Chapters are always looking for volunteers to help in several areas, including the following:

- Special Events

- General administration
- Kids for Wish Kids®
