On September 1, Morgan Lister-Cooper set out from Woodslee Ontario, the start of a 450 km bike ride to her family’s home in Inglewood Ontario, as a personal challenge and to raise much needed funds for Make-A-Wish
® Canada - Toronto & Central Ontario Division. The weather was perfect and the road conditions were excellent as Morgan made her way through the countryside with a support team of her husband Collin, their golden retriever Kaily and other family members and friends. Along with the physical challenges, some of the highlights of the trip was riding through Mennonite country along side horses and buggies and visiting her grandparents’ old farm house which brought back happy childhood memories. A supportive group of family and friends were waiting for Morgan at the “finish line” in Inglewood. “During these hard economic times when we all feel powerless to make a difference, I decided to turn the tables and make a difference in the life of at least one child by raising money to have their wish granted through a wonderful organization” said Morgan.
On behalf of our wish children and families, Make-A-Wish
® would like to thank Morgan for embarking on this adventure and making a difference.
