The City of Saint-Donat commits to a noble cause
Concerned by the well-being of children, and thanks to the efforts and generosity of the committee of business people, the City of Saint-Donat is the first in Quebec to embrace a cause.

The professionals and retailers of Saint Donat have collected $15,000 for Jakob who suffers from a very rare syndrome, a chromosomal disease which results in developmental troubles.

The donations collected will allow Jakob to have his very own multisensory room to allow him to develop essential motor skills.




Young Jakob
Jakob is 7 years old and his anniversary is on November 21st. He is the youngest in a family of 7 children.

After discussion with his family, it seems that a multisensory room would be greatly appreciated by the youngster. He loves music, bright colours and listening to the news. This room will enable him and members of his family to benefit from settings that are truly appropriate and agreeable for his personal development.
