The Queen’s University Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (QACE) conference took place in early October in Kingston, Ontario. Make-A-Wish Canada was chosen as the focus of the social entrepreneurship challenge. One hundred student delegates gathered together to brainstorm ideas on how Make-A-Wish can effectively use social media tools to raise more funds, generate awareness and engage volunteers. The winning team presented Make-A-Wish with a generous donation of $1,000.
