Two hockey loving wish children attend highly anticipated sports event
Alberta - December 2011 – This holiday season, Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workplaces, is teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Canada to provide two wish children with tickets to the 2012 IIHF World Junior Hockey Tournament taking place in Alberta on December 26, 2011 – January 5, 2012.
The hockey games will be held in Rexall Place in Edmonton and The Pengrowth Saddeldome in Calgary. Regus is proud to be a corporate sponsor of this very exciting
31-game hockey tournament for the first time. Each child will receive four tickets.
“Hockey fans from around the world are gearing up for what is sure to be 11-days of action-packed games. Regus is excited to be part of this great Canadian holiday tradition and proud to support Make-A-Wish® Canada to help put smiles on the faces of some very special children. “We hope they enjoy the tournament,” said Wes Lenci, Regus’ Vice President, Canada.
The children receiving the tickets to the tournament this year are:
•Mason, a 12-year-old boy who is a devoted Edmonton Oilers fan and says that Jordan Eberle is his favorite hockey player. Mason will be attending the Canada vs. Switzerland game on December 26th.
•Holly, a 15-year-old girl who enjoys watching the Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins. Holly will attend a semi finals game in Calgary.
