Basit is a smart 17-yr-old boy with big dreams. He hopes to become a rich man and travel to Europe in the future. After his kidney failure, the happiest day of his life was when he received the news that a donated kidney was ready for him.

Despite his illness, he leads a fairly active life and especially enjoys playing basket ball. He gave much thought to his Wish and was very interested to share it with his family, including his parents and his younger brother. He wished for a brand new Sony 3D TV!

When his gift was delivered to his home, his eyes were fixed on the packages. He never left the room but intently watched as the boxes were opened and the TV stand was set up. His eyes widened and a smile lit up his face when the Sony 3D TV was switched on. He usually wears large earphones for listening to music from his Ipod. On his Wish Day, his earphones were off and he sported a cool look with his 3D glasses.

He was delighted with his wish for a Sony 3D TV. Now his family can spend more time together and experience the special effects of 3D TV with great picture quality. His parents are happy that his wish came true and their time spent together will be more exciting. His father said whatever makes Basit happy, makes us happy. They are thankful to Make-A-Wish and for the generous donations from Sony and IKEA.
