Our National Reach Along with the national office, seven independent regional chapters grant magical wishes to children in need across Canada to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Currently the chapters operate out of the following cities: Dartmouth, Montréal, Ottawa, London, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. The Toronto & Central Ontario region is administered by the national office in Toronto.
We also have outreach offices in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Wish granting activities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan are administered though the Southern Alberta and Northern Alberta Chapters, respectively. Wish granting in Saskatchewan is managed through our Northern Alberta Chapter. British Columbia and YukonMake-A-Wish® BC and Yukon, founded in 1983, was the first chapter of Make-A-Wish in Canada. Over the past 25 years we have granted more than 1,100 wishes for children in our province. This year we hope to grant between 80 and 100 special wishes. |

Northern AlbertaMake-A-Wish® of Northern Alberta was initially started by a small group of committed volunteers and was incorporated in March of 1998. Our goal was to make a difference in Northern Alberta by granting wishes to kids between the ages of 3 to 17 with life threatening illnesses. |

Southern AlbertaMake-A-Wish® Southern Alberta was established in 1995. Its chapter territory for wish granting extends from the southern provincial border up to, but not including, Red Deer. |

Toronto & Central Ontario Division of Make-A-Wish CanadaMake-A-Wish has been granting wishes in Southern and Central Ontario for over a decade. The Toronto & Central Ontario Division is managed locally through the national office of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Canada in Toronto, Ontario, covering the following territories: Counties of Durham, Haliburton, Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Muskoka, Niagara, Northumberland, Parry Sound, Peel, Peterborough, Simcoe, Victoria, York. |

Eastern OntarioMake-A-Wish® of Eastern Ontario began with a little girl's wish for a trip to Walt Disney World® Resort in 1997. Maureen MacArthur organized a group of volunteers to form a Board and the new chapter was officially incorporated and granted charitable status on 1 January 1999. We grant wishes for children in Eastern Ontario from Trenton, Ontario to the Quebec border. |

Southwestern OntarioFounded in 1986, Make-A-Wish® Southwestern Ontario grants wishes in the Counties of Brant, Bruce, Chatham-Kent, Dufferin, Elgin, Essex, Grey, Haldimand, Huron, Lambton, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford, Perth, Waterloo and Wellington. |

QuebecFounded in 2005, Make-A-Wish® Quebec is the newest chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada. Headquartered in the city of Montreal, Quebec this chapter covers the entire province of Quebec. |

Atlantic ProvincesMake-A-Wish® of the Atlantic Provinces was established in 2001. Its chapter territory includes Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. |
