Make-A-Wish^® Canada grants magical wishes to children, ages 3 through 17, who are living with life-threatening medical conditions.
Granting a wish is a wonderful, powerful, and moving experience. The realization of a wish come true has a profound affect - not only on the child - but on the child's entire family, the volunteers and all of the caring supporters who make the wish a reality. In fact, medical evidence suggests the experience helps to make ill children stronger - stronger to fight ongoing treatments.

Each wish is as personal and unique as the child who wishes it. Whether it fulfills a fantasy, creates an adventure or includes a celebrity or sports hero, there is one common thread in the granting of each individual wish. That is to bring hope and joy to a child with a life-threatening medical condition.

Celebrity – 6%, Walt Disney World^® – 44%, Electronics – 9%, Other – 13%, Shopping Spree – 4%, Travel – 24%

Some children wish for a room makeover. Some children wish for the latest and greatest TV or laptop. Some children wish to board a flight and fly to somewhere magical or beyond. All of our wishes are granted with the highest degree of professionalism with special attention to magical and medical detail.
