“I wish to have a shopping spree at Home Depot”

On March 7, 2009 a 17-year old Brantford boy had his wish come true, a shopping spree at Home Depot.

Dusty and his family were picked up from their home in a limo, and taken to Boston Pizza for lunch, where Dusty could indulge in his favourite food: pizza. During lunch, Dusty and his family talked excitedly about all the things he could get from his shopping spree at Home Depot Brantford.



They finished lunch and the limo took them to their next destination: Home Depot Brantford. Walking through a mass of Home Depot and Make-A-Wish^® balloons, Dusty and his family were welcomed by Brian and Lori, who represented Home Depot Management. They presented Dusty with a tool box, a gift card and a Home Depot apron signed by the employees at the store. Home Depot donated the majority of Dusty’s wish experience, making it a truly special day for him.

Dusty began looking around the store. Home Depot Brantford and Make-A-Wish arranged for Dusty to have his own experts in each isle to find the best products for him.

Dusty loves working with his hands, and thanks to Home Depot Brantford and Make-A-Wish, he will be able to build whatever he chooses.
