Wish child Christopher is battling Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. Christopher wished for an entertainment centre so that he could spend time with his family enjoying it! Although he knew his wish was to be granted, Christopher didn’t know it had been arranged as a special surprise for his 10th birthday.

When Christopher arrived home on his birthday, his friends and family were there to surprise him. Christopher was thrilled with his new Sony entertainment centre! Everyone celebrated Christopher’s special birthday wish with pizza, pop and cake.

After the wish, Christopher’s mom and dad wrote to us, “Thank you one more time for making Christopher’s wish come true. Chris was totally surprised when he got home from school….When we arrived home I sent Chris into the apartment first at which time everyone jumped out and yelled ‘SURPRISE’! Boy was Chris surprised, and then he went totally speechless when he walked into the living room and saw the Sony system all set up and ready to go….We all had a blast watching a movie, eating pizza, drinking pop and of course eating ‘Birthday Cake.’ We know this gift will give Chris and everyone else enjoyment for a very long time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Christopher also wrote to us, “Thank you for my wish. It was a home entertainment center. It included a 27” t.v., a DVD player, a PS2, a clock radio, wireless headphones and surround sound. I liked the whole wish. My favourite part of the set was the surround sound. The set was all cool. Thank you very much.”
